Excel screenupdating false not working gifts for a one year anniversary of dating
I'd like a way to force the new workbook and its window to display before I do processing on it.Is there such a way to make sure that it can get shown in the middle of a function call?Similarly in my own code, which I had trouble making a sample that has the same behavior.
I have a command button on Userform1 that calls the procedure below. I have placed the Screen Updating command all throughout (Overkill Im sure) and debugged it and the immediate window always shows it set to False. The procedure calls a function "Is Numeric" and I have put the Screen Updating False at the beginning and True at the end of the function.
What I have figured out through troubleshooting is the flickering seems to happen while executing the code between the line "Userform1. Thanks again for your willingness to offer help though!
Its difficult to step through the code as I believe the application.screenupdating defaults to True while in debug. All looked good, so I removed the watch and its working perfect now. I see many posts across the web on this issue, so sounds like Im not the only one that struggles with this situation.

I am trying to see how I can force a newly created workbook/window in Excel 2013 to display before changes are made to it.
