Outlook feeds not updating
When you subscribe to an RSS Feed, Outlook periodically checks for updated postings.
RSS Feed publishers can specify the maximum frequency at which a check for new postings should occur. For example, an RSS Feed might have a maximum polling frequency of 60 minutes — this means don't check for updates more than once per hour.
By saving RSS Feeds to an Outlook Data File (.pst) on your computer, your RSS Feed content does not use your server space allotment. However Outlook doesn't update it for at least half an hour.I have used another program to test the update speed and it updates almost instantly. This proves sharepoint is working fine and that Outlook has the problem.Under the RSS Feed Options in Outlook, I have tried with the Update Limit set (Current Provider Limit: 1 minutes) and also without.
If however the issue still persists it means there is some critical issue with your system which needs to be fixed manually and is recommended to be done by an experienced Computer Technician.
